Vote for Whom?
Answer: For over a year now, people have been asking me who I liked for President. The process of elimination has brought it down to, realistically, four people. Three of those four are socialists. Socialism has never, in the history of mankind, worked. Socialism always results in failures and a weakened government. I hate to see the U.S. go down that route. Both democratic candidates and republican John McCain are socialists. McCain would have made a good democratic candidate. The only choice, Pam, that I see remaining for any thinking American is Mitt Romney.

I agree. Romney is the only viable candidate left who will not hurt America as President. J. M. Charleston, S.C.
Well, Super Tuesday is now over and things are still muddled. I wish Huckabee would get out of it so McCain and Romney could go head to head. I agree with you that Romney would be the best choice for the republicans. If McCain gets the nomination, I probably won't vote in November. I would have no one to vote for.
I like your term "non-thinking." It is a nice way of saying stupid. I have read your other answers and noticed that phrase every now and then. I think Huckabee is staying in the race to split the conservative vote and give the nomination to McCain. He obviously expects some payoff from McCain. McCain won liberal states like New York that he has absolutely no chance of winning in November. His nomination would almost guarantee that the democratic nominee will win. That is why the media has been so supportive of McCain. But he is too "non-thinking" to see it.

This keeps changing every day. I see why you avoid getting involved in this mess. Now Romney has withdrawn and that leaves McCain as the likely nominee. He could still do something stupid and the convention could vote for someone else. But most likely, we are stuck with McCain. And McCain vs. either Hillary or Obama is a pretty slim choice. I don't think any one of the three are qualified to be President. Right now, I think I probably, for the first time in my life, will not vote for President.
