2012!

Question: I have been reading about predictions of catastrophes that are supposed to happen to the planet in December 2012. What do you think will happen in 2012? Thomas Club, Columbus, Georgia.

Answer: Geologically? Nothing. Emotionally? Some people will work themselves into a "frenzy." Scientifically? Our solar system will enter the galaxtic center. It is a long natural cycle that has happened before and will happen again. The most intriguing question about all this is "How did the Maya know about this?"
