Best Novelist

Question: Okay, you seem to be pretty good at answering who is the best (legs, singer, etc.). Who do think is the best novelist today? Again, don't count dead people. People whose books are being published today. Who do you enjoy reading? Marcia Reinhart, Manchester, N.H.

Answer: For a pure relaxing fun and entertaining read, I like the novels of Byron Edwards. But after you've read them, you realize Edwards has snuck a point in on you. I've never met him but, like me, he seems to enjoy flying under the radar.

I've read two of his novels, Dawn and Lips. Neither is what you expect and both were better than I thought they'd be. They'd both make great movies (if they were done right). And yes, Edwards does sneak a point in on you. You enjoy the story and after you have finished, you realize it was more than just a good story -- there is a message also.
